My Mother
My mother grew up in the UK, where she first learned to read tarot cards. She always believed her ability was a gift from God, meant to be shared in service of others—to offer guidance, clarity, and comfort when it was needed most. My hope is that as you use this app, you find the insight and reassurance you’re looking for.
Long before smartphones existed, my mother had a vision for a website that could offer automated tarot readings. To make that possible, she carefully wrote the meanings for every card in every position across multiple layouts. With 78 cards in a traditional deck, this was an enormous undertaking—one she approached with patience, dedication, and deep respect for the tarot. Alongside this work, she also wrote a series of books to help others learn the art of reading tarot for themselves.
While she was building this foundation, she asked me to illustrate a tarot deck that could one day be used for the site she imagined.
Twenty years later, I taught myself how to code so I could finally bring her vision to life.
